                                How to Registration E-TIN ?


Steps:

1. First, secure.incometax.gov.bd with any mobile or computer browser or click on this link.

2. Click on the Register option from here.

3. Instead of User ID, enter the User ID of your choice. Must be at least 6 numbers.

4. Then enter the password of your choice instead of the password. Password must be 4 digits.

5. Retype Password Replace the same password. (Mobile Number, Email, etc. Fill in the rest of the information very easily)

6. Then click on Register.

7. Now a verification code is gone on your mobile. Click Activate with this code in this blank box.

9. Now your registration has been successful. Now click on Login.

10. Login here with User ID & Password.

11. Yes, now the Main Dashboard is gone. Click here at the bottom.


The step you have taken now is crucial.

Taxpayer Type

1. From option ‘A’ you have to select the type of taxpayer. There are 5 options in this option. (Taxpayers who are Bangladeshi, who have voter ID card. In addition, those whose main source of income is personal system, salary, professional, house rent, etc., they have to choose the Individual - Bangladeshi option.) 

2. Then there are two options Having NID or MINOR from the 'B' option. (Taxpayers who have ID card i.e. above 18 years will select Having NID and those taxpayers who are under 18 years of age will click on Minor option )


Registration Type:

From this option a taxpayer has to choose what kind of registration he will do. There are, of course, two options, one new registration and two old registrations.

1. Re-Registration:

All the taxpayers who are currently in 10 digit TIN must select the ‘Re-Registration’ option if they want to take 12 digit TIN online.


2. New Registration:

Those who have come to register completely new will click New Registration.


Clicking New Registration will open a new box. Try the following.


Main source of income:

In this option a taxpayer can choose his main source of income. It has 4 options.

1. Service: Salary is the main source of income of the taxpayers who will select the ‘service’ option.

2. Profession: Professionals who are the main source of income for taxpayers such as lawyers, doctors, engineers will select the 'profession' option.

3. Business: Businesses who are the main source of income for taxpayers will select the ‘business’ option.

4. Others: For those taxpayers whose main source of income is no service, profession or business, the ‘other’ option has to be selected.

5. Service Location: Select the district where your office or workplace is located from here.

6. Employer Type: If you are working in government, private, semi-government, etc., then you have to select it from here. Finally, click Go to Next below all.


Basic Information

In this step, the applicant has to give all the information including name, gender, father's name, mother's name, voter ID number, date of birth, current address, permanent address. All the information given here must be 100% correct and according to the voter ID card.

After giving the information, click Go to Next.


Emergency steps:

Here is a preview of your information. You can correct any errors by clicking the 'back previous' button.

If all the information is correct, click on the ‘submit application’ button. Then TIN number and certificate will be created. When all is said and done, click on the ‘view certificate’ button to view the TIN certificate. Then you will see the TIN certificate.

Last step:

Now you can print / PDF save / email using Print Certificate / Save Certificate / Email Certificate respectively. But in this case it is better to save.
